From the GBC headquarters to interfaith dialogues across continents — His Grace's leadership touches lives in over 50 countries, bridging traditions and building a more compassionate world.
GBC Vice Chairman
As Vice Chairman of ISKCON's worldwide Governing Body Commission, His Grace shapes the future of a global spiritual movement with temples, communities, and educational centers across every continent.
🏛️ Strategic Direction
As Vice Chairman, His Grace plays a central role in setting the strategic direction of ISKCON's global operations. This includes long-term planning for institutional growth, organizational reform, and ensuring alignment with Srila Prabhupada's original vision across hundreds of temples and thousands of outreach programs worldwide. His corporate governance experience is invaluable in managing the complexities of a movement that spans every continent and operates in diverse cultural contexts.
👥 Nominations Committee
His Grace chairs the GBC Nominations Committee — a body of critical importance for ISKCON's future. This committee focuses on succession planning and the identification of new GBC members and Global Duty Officers. Understanding that the long-term health of any institution depends on the quality of its leadership pipeline, he brings rigorous selection criteria, mentoring processes, and a deep commitment to identifying leaders who embody both spiritual depth and administrative capability.
📋 Property Records System
Leveraging his professional background in corporate management, His Grace has been instrumental in strengthening ISKCON's property record system. In a movement with significant real estate holdings across dozens of countries, proper documentation and legal protection of properties is essential for long-term institutional security. His systematic approach has brought much-needed rigor to this critical area of ISKCON's operations.
Mission to Arabic & Islamic Countries
Perhaps one of His Grace's most pioneering and diplomatically challenging roles is overseeing ISKCON's development in Arabic and Islamic countries. This mission requires an extraordinary combination of cultural sensitivity, diplomatic skill, spiritual conviction, and personal courage. In regions where the concept of Hindu devotional practice is largely unfamiliar or potentially misunderstood, His Grace navigates with wisdom and grace — seeking common ground without compromising the core teachings of Krishna consciousness.
His approach is characterized by genuine respect for Islamic traditions, while simultaneously identifying universal spiritual principles that resonate across both Vaishnava and Islamic frameworks — such as complete surrender to the Supreme, the importance of devotional prayer, and the duty to serve humanity. His Grace's personal warmth, intellectual credibility (IIT + FMS background), and decades of interfaith experience make him uniquely suited for this delicate mission.
While the specifics of this outreach are necessarily conducted with discretion, the vision is clear: to establish ISKCON's presence — however modest — in parts of the world that have historically been completely outside the movement's reach. This is long-term spiritual diplomacy at its most ambitious, and His Grace brings to it the patience, persistence, and profound faith that such endeavors require.
50+ Countries and Counting
From the sacred towns of Vrindavan and Mayapur to the bustling capitals of Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the Americas — His Grace has carried the message of Krishna consciousness across more than 50 countries. Each journey is not a vacation but a mission — meeting devotees, strengthening temple communities, delivering lectures, and opening new doors for the spread of Srila Prabhupada's teachings.

Ensuring seamless coordination between ISKCON's publishing arm and its governing body.
The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust
The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT) is the world's largest publisher of ancient and classical Vaishnava texts, including Srila Prabhupada's translations and commentaries on the Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and Sri Chaitanya-charitamrita. As a member of the BBT-GBC Relationships Committee, His Grace works to ensure that the publishing mission — which Srila Prabhupada himself called the "backbone" of ISKCON — remains aligned with the broader organizational mission. This includes coordinating book distribution campaigns, supporting translation into new languages, and securing the legal and financial integrity of the BBT's worldwide operations.
Worldwide Distribution
Under the inspiration of leaders like His Grace, ISKCON has distributed over 500 million books in more than 70 languages over the past five decades. His emphasis on making every devotee a reader and every reader a teacher creates a self-sustaining cycle of spiritual education and outreach.
Institutional Alignment
The BBT-GBC Committee ensures that publishing initiatives, temple programs, and educational curricula work in harmony. His Grace's role bridges the creative and administrative divisions, ensuring resources are deployed effectively to maximize the movement's spiritual impact globally.
